哈罗德·劳埃德的生平简介
哈罗德·劳埃德（1893～1971），美国男演员。1893年4月20日生于美国内布拉斯加伯查德一个摄影师家庭。曾在当地剧院做零工，后逐渐在流动剧团中担任小角色和替补演员。1912年在爱迪生公司任临时演员，次年在几部启斯东喜剧片中露面，并多雇于环球影片公司任临时演员和小配角。1914年开始拍滑稽短片，模仿卓别林塑造了一个“孤独的卢克”系列喜剧形象。这个角色完全是抄袭C.卓别林所扮演的夏尔洛，只是用过于狭小的衣服代替夏尔洛所穿的那套过于肥大的破衣服。1917年又塑造了一个激起强烈反响的“普通人”形象。换上新的装饰:头戴平顶草帽，鼻上架着一副玳瑁眼镜，身穿合适的西服，成了一个彬彬有礼的人物。劳埃德所创造的这个角色风流多情，鲁莽固执，笑料百出。他所塑造喜剧典型在美国颇为流行。有人说，他所创造出来的典型要比卓别林的典型在美国更为流行。20年代，劳埃德影片的卖座率经常超过查利·卓别林和巴斯特·基顿。卓别林的《淘金记》的票房收入，到了1925年就被劳埃德的《大学新生》一片所打破。有声片问世后，其无声喜剧片逐渐衰落。1947年为霍华德·休斯拍摄《疯狂的星期三》后告别银幕。劳埃德一生拍片甚多，表演出众，被公认为与查尔斯·斯宾塞·卓别林、巴斯特·基顿和兰登齐名的美国无声喜剧片的四大巨星之一。1952年，以“喜剧大师和优秀公民”身份荣获奥斯卡特别荣誉奖 。1971年卒于加利福尼亚州的贝弗利希尔斯 。20世纪20年代前后，美国喜剧电影明星哈罗德·劳埃德(Harold Lloyd)以“罗克”之名风靡中国，跟卓别林一起共享盛誉，并给中国观众带来了难得的人生的欢乐面；然而，1930年发生在上海、轰动全中国的 《不怕死》事件，使罗克失去了中国市场的支持与中国观众的喜爱。 他是一个演员，同时也是导演和电影制片人，电影多为滑稽戏，并且很受欢迎。与查理卓别林和巴斯特基顿一样，他具有喜剧性格，是一个综合的、浪漫的和努力的人。
