thanks for your email. about the project you are embarking on, i have my own points of view. due to the differences of educaiton modes between china and the west, the judgement on a good teacher is varying as well. in china, a good teacher may be tough, meanwhile inspring when teaching students. sometimes he/she does not have much time to focus on every student as you know the large population of chinese people and the scarcity of educational resources. but i believe a good teacher should try his/her best to spend time and energy on educating each student despite their characters and intellectural levels. that is what i think of a good teacher, hoping you are ok with my answers.
