美国“好奇号”名字的由来
近代很多新词汇包括国家名字的翻译全都是照搬日本的翻译，惟独“美国” 没有照搬日本翻译成“米国” 。 America 音译 爱米瑞肯 所以日本翻译成 “米国” 也很正常，为什么中国翻译家没有按照惯例 翻译成 “米国”呢？ 而且还给了取了个好听的名字 “美国” 答案就是 当时的翻译家认为 America 是所有西方列强中对中国最好的。 我们的历史总是说什么美国来晚了所以 要搞 门户开放 利益均沾，你要是戴着有色眼镜看美国我也没办法，因为当你怀疑一个人是小偷的时候 怎么看他的行为都是要偷东西的。 但是有一点可以肯定，你见到过有狼把到口的肉吐出来的吗？ 然而美国“吐”出来了，清华大学就是美国退还辛丑条约的赔款修建的。而且美国还倡导别的国家也退还一部分，只有小日本一分不退 。 所以当你张嘴叫“美国”这2个字的时候就 表达了我们祖辈对美国的感激之情
